The Front desk people were very friendly & helpful. Good location.

Room was very warm & A/C was turned off for season. Had to sleep with window open which was very noisy all night.

evrything. Especially staff. I recived room comletely different than on the photos but that wasnt any problem. Problem was with new carpet which stink chemical, horrible, disgusting. I couldnt stay there even 5 min and think about sleep there was impossible. I just wanted change the room but reception was very arrogant and no helpful. I heard so many bad words about me which I could tnot acepted. And the end I changed hotel but they chaged me anyway for nothing. Horrible never again.

Very convenient location close to the train station from which we arrived in Geneva and departed to France. Within easy walking distance of main tourist attractions. Very close to a department store with a huge selection of Swiss chocolate.

The reception staff were universally super. Really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having breakfast in the English pub next door as well. It was just so bizarre plus they had live Aussie Rules Football showing on TV. The rooms are quite small but they have everything you need.

The hotel is virtually next to Geneva Cornavin and is a short walk to the lake and Geneva Old Town. By Swiss standards, the rates are extremely competitive for what it offers. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very quiet for my liking. All staff members I met were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. The personalised TV greeting was the cherry on the cake. I gladly recommend Hotel Astoria to other travellers.

This is worst hotel during my stay in Europe. Smell in rooms, Narrow passages & lift.very basic breakfast. Hidden charges on tv, charged me for the movies which even I did not seen, just I surfed and went back, some movies offered free but if you repeat you will be charged, staff some arab(egyption) became too rude when I argued so I paid whole amount as I have to catch the flieght,only location cannot give value of money

The furniture is Old, but that is OK, what bugged me most is that the carpets were old, stained and had bad smell In addition this is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that you have to pay for TV

The location is excellent: just across the street from the main train station in Geneva. Check-out / Check-in was very efficient. Breakfast is in a very comfortable, bar-like setting.

The single room that I stayed in was rather small, but otherwise quite ok.

the combination of a quiet room and the location opposite the station is great.

Hotel reception area was good, staff was OK.

It was virtually a roach motel. Carpet was stained, room was too small, mattress had caved in, not at all a good experience. This is the fourth hotel we've booked through Booked.net and this was by far the worst experience we have had. Other hotels were as described and sometimes exceeded our expectations.

Very good location, clean room, good service, helpful staff and the choice of breakfast at Brittania Pub.

Compact bathroom and choice of TV channels.
